Reaction to The Most Beautiful Thing

I Summary
I chose to summarize and react to the short film, The Most Beautiful Thing made in 2012 and written, directed and edited by Cameron Covell. This short film is a work appealing for importance of the communication with the partner.


II Reaction
1 Main character
The main character of this short film is one man and one woman. The man is very lonely at school in the house. However, one day life becomes happy by meeting one woman.

The woman is deaf. One day it is an opportunity to have been said hello to a man and makes friends with the man.

2 message
This work can teach audiences importance of the communication. Communication is not only to talk. Even a letter and sign language can tell thought to a partner. Misunderstanding produces a person and the person if they do not take the communication.

3 Scene
The last scene of this short film is very impressive. This proves that people can know the true feeling of the partner for the first time because people tells thought to a partner.

III General opinion
This short film is a very wonderful work. It can tell that it is important for us. And, this short blog tells that it is a great to love people to us.

Elefante

I Summary
I chose to summarize and react to the short film, Elefante made in 2012 and written, directed and edited by Pablo Larcuen. This short film is sad story that a lonely man becomes the elephant, and his life turns into.

II Reaction
1 Main character
The main character of this story is a man becoming the elephant, his wife , his daughter  and his son called Esteban. They don't get along. His wife is cold for him, his daughter does not speak to him. But, Esteban loves his father.

2 Message
This story can teach us the importance of of family tile. Communication is important to deepen a bond. However, this family does not get communication. We can understand the warmth of the family by getting the communication.

3 Mood
This short film is a dark atmosphere. Due to this, this gives audiences a sad feeling. And we can understand the characteristic of this short film thanks to this atmosphere.

III Generation opinion
This short film is very sad contents. It is a sad thing that a family is not reliable each other.　Because this short film appeals for the importance of the family tie, I think that it is a good film.

The Real Prince Synopsis

I Summary

The story I chose to summarize and react is The Real Prince Synopsis. As for this, a true princess was not found to the prince, but is the story that a prince can find a true princess by one pea, and was able to find happiness.

ll Reaction

1. Character
In this story, a prince and a princess are main characters. The prince was looking for a true princess, but was not able to readily find out a true princess. But, one day, one pea is an opportunity, and the prince can find out a true princess.

2. Irony
Irony of this story was that a prince was able to meet a true princess. This because a prince have been able to find the true princess whom a prince was not readily found.

3. Appeal
Appeal of this story is one pea. The story that a prince was able to find a true princess by one pea is very unique.

III General opinion

I thought that this story was an exciting  very much. This because one pea led the happiness a prince and the princess. I read and was very interesting.

Poisoning Mother-in-Law

I Summary

The story I chose to summarize and react is Poisoning Mother-in-Law. This short-short story is an ancient Chinese story, and  a wife named Li-Li and a mother-in-law doesn't get along with each　other, and they are opposed stories. And the short story is that a wife is going to give a mother-in-law  poison.

II Reaction

1. Character

A character of this short-short story is a husband, a wife named Li-Li, a mother-in-law and close friend of father of Li-Li. They lives together. A wife really hates mothers-in-law. And, a mother-in-law really hates a wife, too.  The close friend of father of Li-Li sells herb.

2. Theme
This short-story of theme is a feeling of the consideration for the person. If everyone has a feeling of the consideration, an interpersonal relationship should improve.　Thus, this short-short story appeals to us for importance of the consideration.

3. Fatal Flaw
A fatal flaw of　a wife is a lack of the consideration. If she had consideration more quickly, she could get along with a mother-in-law very well sooner.

III General opinion

I think that this short-short story tells us importance having kindness. When each person has kindness, everyone can be happy. So,We need to consider other people. And, I think that we always have love for other people.

The short story I chose to summarize and is Live and Work. This story is a story about the family. The main character of the story is father. This story is that father worked hard for his wife and his son. Father has died just when he was going to increase the time with the family.

The short story has a imagery. I think this story sad. This because is father was not able to spend the time with the family.

Main character of This short story is father who is an eager beaver. And a wife and a son are characters, too.

This story of theme is Importance of not working too much. And the theme is that there is the importance of a family and the time to spend, too.

I think that this short story tells us Importance of not working too much. And The story tells us that importance of spending time with a family.

The poem I chose to summarize and is I'm Nobody! Who Are You? by Emily Dickinson. The type of this poem seems to be lyric poetry, because the poem is writing about a writer's feeling. The poem says that taking a look at oneself again is important.

II. Reaction

This poem has a imagery.  The poem says that taking a look at oneself again. People should have time that　taking a look at oneself again.

2. Connotation
This poem says that people have other people of marked individuality. And the poem teaches that one by one has each attractions.

3. Personification
This poem's character is frog. And the frog says somethings. So I think this poem has Personification.

4. General Opinion
This poem will tell the reader that people are differences. So each person's difference is important. This poem tells me that knowing oneself.

Reaction to The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear

I. Summary
The poem I chose to summarize and react is The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. The type of this poem seems to be narrative poetry, because this story is that a owl and a cat married. A owl and a cat makes a voyage, they makes love to each other. 

II. Reaction

1.  Imagery

So The poem is love story, everyone from adults to children can enjoy the poem. Since The characters is animals,  the poem gives the reader enjoyable image, than it is　when the characters is person. The poem gives us happy. 

2. Personification

The poem’s characters are animals, an owl sings, and the owl and pussy cat married and danced. So we can say that this is using personification. 

3. Connotation

It is difficult to convey one's feelings to one`s favorite person, but this poem is that other animals convey their feelings. And the two animals look happy. So this poem says  the message that it is important to convey one's feelings.

4. General Opinion
This poem will tell the reader that the condition of loving a person is important. And the poem gives the reader a happy feeling.
